El arte de lo efímero

En Japón, la floración del cerezo dura apenas unos días. Esa belleza efímera nos recuerda que nada permanece — y que quizá por eso importa tanto.

Everything you need to make words stick

One highlight becomes a finished card — then it’s yours to study anywhere.

The difference

Not a translation. A card worth keeping.

A dictionary hands one word back. AI Flashcard Maker fills in every field a real flashcard needs — so what lands in your deck is ready to study, not homework for later.

FAQ

Common questions

Which browsers are supported?
AI Flashcard Maker runs on Chromium browsers — Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera and others — installed from the Chrome Web Store. Safari and Firefox use different extension systems, so they aren’t supported yet.
Do I need an account?
No account needed — install it and it works right away, with cards stored locally in your browser.
Where are my cards stored?
Locally, in your browser's extension storage. Your decks never leave your device unless you export them. Only the selected text is sent for AI card generation.
Does it work on PDFs and local files?
Yes — the flashcard button can't appear on restricted pages (Chrome's PDF viewer, local files, browser pages), so there you select text, right-click, and create the card from the side panel instead.
How do I get my cards into Anki or Quizlet?
Open the Export tab, pick a deck and the cards you want, then choose the format. Anki takes the TSV file directly; for Quizlet you copy and paste into its import page.
Can my Anki cards have pronunciation audio?
Yes. When exporting to Anki you can add Anki's built-in text-to-speech tag in the accent you choose — say, Spain vs. Mexico for Spanish. Cards then speak automatically on review.
Can I learn any language from any language?
You can learn any of 10 languages, with translations and the interface in any of 16 native languages — see the full lists. More pairs are added as we verify card quality for them.
